Peer Tutoring in Other Subjects
In some Arts and Sciences departments the need for peer tutors is not as great as it is in others; however we are committed to providing tutoring in all areas where there is even minimal student need. Where the need for tutoring services is great, departments typically offer their own tutoring. Where the need is not as great, the College's Peer Tutoring Program works closely with the departments to support them in their effort to provide tutoring in selected courses by providing central training and coordination of their peer tutors. Most College peer tutoring sessions are one-on-one appointments; however we also offer group tutoring, review sessions, supplemental instruction and designated tutoring in some subject areas.
Some of the other subjects in which we offer tutoring assistance are: foreign languages, linguistics, computer science, and psychology. If you have a need for tutorial assistance in any subject, please contact us and we will try to accommodate your needs.
