Mission Statement

The College of Arts and Sciences Tutoring Program strives to meet the academic needs of undergraduate students by providing a wide range of tutoring services in a variety of courses offered in the College. The goal of the tutoring program is to promote independent and active learning among students and to have a direct and positive effect on improving their academic achievement. Our tutoring program is committed to working closely with the academic departments in the College to firmly ground tutoring services within each academic area to support a strong, engaged learning community.

Who We Are

The College of Arts and Sciences Tutoring Program is a newly structured program that was created in an effort to meet the academic needs of the undergraduate students taking Arts and Sciences courses. The central coordinating office for the Tutoring Program is located in the College's Center for Academic Services in 1 ME. Tina Kondopoulos, the Senior Associate Director for Tutoring, provides direction for the College's tutoring services and works with a team of graduate and undergraduate student coordinators to support the tutoring efforts in the academic departments. The central tutoring office is the place for students to go when are having difficulty finding the tutorial assistance that you need.
